ENTERING THE WORLD OF KINDERGARTEN READINESS
As toddlers turn two, Kids @ Play’s preschool kindergarten readiness program begins. Attention spans expand with the ability to understand more complicated concepts and to follow direction. At this stage, your two-year-old takes the next step on the path of lifelong learning.
Our preschool program is designed to maximize your child’s learning potential. Your child’s personal learning style is incorporated into our program to ensure the development of skills essential to his or her future life success. Our emphasis on learning through play brings learning to life for your child. It plants the seed that learning is fun. It encourages a love of learning that will follow your child forever. A willingness and openness to learn is an important ingredient in your child’s educational growth.
Using hands on experiences and age appropriate materials, our experienced and highly motivated teaching staff teach a curriculum based on pre-kindergarten fundamentals. Your child’s happiness and well being are always as important as your child’s education. An emphasis on continuing education and training for our teachers means that your child will experience the newest developments in preschool education. New, exciting and stimulating activities means that your child’s preschool experience will always be cutting edge.

"I pledge allegiance..."
The Kids @ Play preschool program begins with our 2-1/2 year-olds and grows into our three and then into our four-year-old program. Each stage builds upon the activities, skills and ideas developed in the previous age grouping. When your child leaves Kids @ Play for kindergarten, he or she will have the skills, confidence and self assurance to make a smooth and worry free transition.
Our kindergarten readiness program is included in our fulltime and part-time day care packages. Or, if preschool programming is all that your child needs, you can enroll for that only. Our graduates are well received in the area kindergarten classes for the high level of preparedness they exhibit.
To give you an idea of what your child will experience in our program, the following chart lists the skills and concepts by age group that your child will be learning and developing.

“ It is difficult to leave your child in the care of others but we are thrilled that we found somewhere where the staff is so caring and where Brian was able to learn while still being a little boy having fun.”
