GROWING ON THE PATH OF LIFELONG LEARNING
As an infant becomes a toddler – 12 months to 36 months, many things begin to happen. At Kids @ Play, it means moving from the infant suite into the toddler suite. Your child will gracefully make this transition because he or she will already know and be comfortable with the toddler caregivers.
At this stage of development, children begin to walk, talk, feed themselves, and explore. They generally become very aware of their surroundings. Kids @ Play provides a bright, airy and stimulating classroom to encourage your toddler to reach out and grow.
The caregivers in the toddler program are sensitive to toddler needs and know what to expect as our toddlers develop and grow. Your toddler’s special needs are reflected in our toddler curriculum. It is based on providing age appropriate activities and experiences.
The toddler program is the earliest stage of our preschool programming. Activities for this age group are varied. They are short in duration to match your toddler’s endless energy and inquisitiveness. The toddler program follows a typical daily schedule. This brings more focus to your toddler’s personal development.
